just got back from the game, i left beginin of the fourth against texas southern, we were up 42-33 and we scored while i was walking, dont know final score, that makes us 3-2 on the season wit losses to SMU and southern utah who just threw like a five yard dump pass over the middle all night, pretty much whooped us

they have two pretty decent runnin backs and a good wide receiver, goin to the game is sure different than when i went to WC games when i was younger, lots of folks in one spot, but i bet some high schools have had better attendence at times. right now we are tryin to go d1 but that wont happen until 2012 if it does, but if we do we will have to expand the stadium that only holds 15,000 now

There was talk of d1 when I was there. They need to get competitive in d2, expand stadium to 35,000, and sell some tix in order to go d1. They should be able to recuit good players that some d1 overlook. Lots of good ball players between Austin and SA area.

yea, theres always tons of athletes that dont always fit the way some big schools want, but yea one of things to go d1 is that they were talkin bout u had to have average 15,000 attendence, and right now they gotta pretty much sell out every home game

suitcase school - they never will avg 15,000. corporate sponsors will have to buy the tix and give them away.

yea, there sure are alot of kids that go home on the weekends, its just about the only way i find parking at my dorm, i think the only time we do sell out is just the high profile games like playoffs or like against sam houston

It'll always be SWT to me! Texas State my a**... I refuse to call it that. A few years ago they contacted me and offered to exchange my (class of '82) SWT diploma for one that read 'Texas State University'--I told them where to stick it...
