it was 63-0 when i left late in the 4th qaurter. Ingram just made us punt for the 1st time. and on the previous drive they crossed the 30 yard line for the first time and got their 1st first down of the game.... nothing more then a stat scrimmage for us. Even though it was against poor competition Freshmen RB Smith just keeps on impressing me. he had 3 TD's on the night, 2 of them 50+ yard TD runs, one of them he broke about 8 tackles. The score could of been worse, we had a screen pass go 50 yards for a TD that was called back due to holding.... nothing really much else to say...

Not much to say on this one as it was a pretty easy victory. Could have been way worse. Sorry to correct you TexanAlum but Smith had 5 tds on about 10-12 carries, he was impressive albid against a really weak Ingram team. D looked strong, no first downs by ingram until late in the fourth. We need to keep gettin better and the young guys look like they're gettin more comfortable with the varsity level, should have another easy game next week with Canyon Lake.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

Wimberley 63, Ingram Moore 0
Saturday, October 04, 2008

On track in District 8-3A competition after a modest non-league start, Wimberley (3-3, 2-0) ran wild against visiting Moore (0-6, 0-2).

Freshman running back Dennis Smith was instrumental in the Texans' demolition project, logging touchdown runs of 30, 53, 6, 37 and 68 yards. Brooks Blakemoore added two scoring darts and Barron Scudder's 9-yard pass to Johan Holter and a 52-yard punt return by Drew Kutz, plus nine conversion kicks by Jarred Kutz, completed the rout.

Smith finished the game with 218 rushing yards on nine carries. Ingram mustered only 50 yards of total offense.

Sorry for the wrong stats. I had a few alchoholic beverages before the game and at halftime so I wasnt really paying attention much the 2nd half. So we have Canyon Lake next week? please dont tell me we have canyon lake then a bye then LH. We need to play a competitive team before we play LH.....
