The Texas Tech ticket office is warning fans about existing counterfeit general admission tickets to the Nebraska-Tech game Oct. 11 in Lubbock.

Forty-two tickets were purchased with a stolen credit card and shipped to a Dallas address before the violation was discovered. The tickets have been voided. Fans are urged to only purchase tickets through the Tech ticket office.

So since they are real tickets, it's absolutely impossible to know if they are real or fake.

Yeah I don't know how you'd know if you had one without calling Tech.

you have to call in and give the barcode serial number - those are known and have been deactivated, so they can tell you if a ticket is valid or not....
