Longoria... has anyone ever won rookie of the year and MVP in the same season?

Yes. Ichiro did.

Longoria won't though. He missed way too much time with injury and his numbers weren't even MVP-worthy.

Carlos Pena left the game with blurred vision from an accidental scratched eye he suffered at his home yesterday, but he's expected to be in the lineup tomorrow.

Go Rays!
