District 28

Who do you think will win District 28 and who be 2nd and 3rd?

District Standings:
1. Cuero 3-1 (0-0)
2. Yoakum 2-2 (0-0)
3. Gonzales 2-3 (0-0)
4. Goliad 1-3 (0-0)
5. Palacios 1-3 (0-0)
6. Edna 0-3 (0-0)

Before the season started I had: Cuero, Gonzales and Palacios

I am starting to rethink that to Cuero (Div 2) , Yoakum (Div 2) and Gonzales (Div1). Any ideas?

Goliad might sneak in by beating either Yoakum or Gonzales plus Palacios and Edna. The only lock as I see it is Cuero.

you might be right, that could be interesting - Gonzales is the "key" if Gonzales makes it - Cuero goes D2 - if not, Cuero goes D1..... interesting and probably will go down to the final game. The Tigers have been "down" for quite a while, it would be nice to see them have some success. :)

With the way Palacios & Edna have been playing I'd say it's safe to pencil them OUT of contention.

Goliad has some size and some dudes that can play. I predict the winner of the Goliad/Gonzales game will make the playoffs along with Cuero & Yoakum!
