Are they going to be able to play any more this season or is the damage form Ike so bad the school wont be open for a while?

They play Brookshire Royal this weekend.

That's right p4s. I'll just fill in the gaps.

Like many homes and facilities in Orange County, the WO-S campus did receive some damage, but from what I understand, it was minimal. In fact, students have been in class since last Wednesday.

The Mustangs had to cancel 2 football games due to Ike. They cancelled the Kirbyville game that was scheduled the weekend that Ike came ashore and the Jasper game as Orange County was still under a mandatory evacuation order. Last week was a regularly scheduled open week for the 'Stangs and they decided against trying to schedule a game as a lot of students (and players) were out of town even after classes resumed.

Friday, WO-S resumes its regular schedule as it hosts Brookshire Royal at 7:30. They will then start their district schedule against Silsbee the following week.

In fact, all of the 21-3A schools will be playing their district games as scheduled....including Bridge City.
