To move up in the Massey Ratings you have to beat his spread...

He predicted Burkburnett to win 45-8 over Eastern Hills and they only ended up winning 23-20...

Thus they performed less than expected and moved down

This is the same guy who helped create the BCS system so...I humbly take with a grain of salt

There are a few flaws, one being Navasota at #24. Don't see how they move down after destroying Rudder (they even beat the spread).

Sometimes you drop, simply because you get leapfrogged by others...

Eastern Hills was demolished by Springtown 63-21 on 9/19.
3A Decatur demolished 4A Springtown in a scrimmage earlier this year. Decatur is 2-3 going into district play losing to Prosper, Argyle, and Argyle Christian. So, I can see where they might have a problem with Burk only beating eastern hills 23-20 in OT.

Henderson lost to Atlanta (1-3) 35-14 and Navasota only defeated Henderson by 1 point. Carthage also destroyed Henderson 33-3. I'm sure this hurt Navasota's strength of schedule and caused the drop.
