3As v.s. 5As?

Is it very common for a 3A Team to take on a 5A team? I didn't think something like this would ever even occur until I noticed two teams taking on 5As in week 1.

3A's have two wins against 5A's this year, one of them 30-0 on the road (Cleveland over New Caney).

We also had two 1A's winning over 3A teams this week... Canadian over Perryton and Shiner over Palacios

Of course, Canadian and Shiner are highly ranked 1A's, while Cleveland and Rio Hondo are not highly ranked in 3A. OTOH, New Caney and that Laredo HS are piss poor at football this year.

... Palacios beat Rio Hondo in 2007

... and Rio Hondo beat 5A Laredo Alexander in 2008


Where would you put your money if 1A Shiner faced off against 5A Laredo Alexander??
