Why don't they just give LH the trophy and let the guys go fishing or something. I know, they have to play the games, but make a new Liberty Hill rule. When they win another state championship, they must play all of their games next year with one hand tied behind their back. Don't wait until next year. Start the rule now for the remaining district games. Don't you think that would be fair? LOL

Lion, I thought your upset of the year was Brownwood over LH. I guess this prediction is based on the fact that Burnet stayed within 11 of you guys, and you guys were close to LH? Well, anything can happen, and the streak does have to end sometime so we'll see. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say not this week.

Olddawg......I know only one thing for sure regarding Burnet this Friday----the second string won't get a chance to play much. :D Good luck, and remember Oregon State.......(although Liberty Hill would probably score a couple on them.)

Not sure there is a second string, the last game I went to it looked like there were only about 23 uninjured players on varsity.:(

Liberty Hill by 24. As for the prediction that this would be the upset of the year. YOU DO HAVE SOME WIERD DREAMS. Now, the Manor upset(?) of brownwood is more likely. Manor is good and has very good speed. If the Lions don't play thier best Manor might just pull off that upset.

Thanks Sinton66, even though I'm still up in 5a country most of the time, I live for those Friday night 3a football games, just my opinion that that is what high school football is all about. Just wish Burnet had never left.:(

Burnets good but LH is better, a lot better. LH will put up to many points for Burnet to have a chance. Close early but LH pulls away in the second half. 49 - 21.

They're just not here, and the bad part is that Burnet will likely be 4A before it ever gets better. What's in place now will never get it done. You can take that to the Bank. I see it being 5+ years to revamp Burnets situation.

I agree. '02 & '03 was some good smack talking (that is up until Burnet kicked our butts!) Even '04 & '05 was pretty crazy...
