I was really disapointed in the students section....ACL really took precident over the game

Yeah the whole upperdeck east side was maybe 30% full at kickoff and the northeast corner of the endzone upper and lower deck were maybe 40% full. it was pothetic. I really wish we could sell out every game. I cant wait for mizzou to come to town! DKR will be rocking, I wonder if they will squeeze 100k in there for that game. If theres a will theres a way!

i read this game was a sellout, guess the ACL & the fact that it was postponed for 2 weeks due to IKE made lots of folks not be able to attend

I bet that had a lot to do with it. people having to change plans and what not, plus ACL going on. Oh well it was still fun to watch us pound the piggies. Arky fans started leaving at half and I dont blame them for doing so. They were catching a lot of crap from UT fans, I rarely ever talk trash at all, if i do it is never anything serious or offending. BUT, I have not forgotten how Texas fans were treated after they beat us in 03. So for that reason alone, I didnt hold anything back......:D

Yeah I barely got to tailgate at all because I was walking around for 2 hours trying to sell my tickets. Nobody was buying, I have never had that hard of a time trying to sell tickets at a game before. I finally got $40 for both of them about 30 minutes before kickoff from this asian couple. I got lucky, I couldnt even get scalpers to buy my tickets, they were offering $5 a ticket for mine, I told em to get lost. lol.

Yeah it is a big music festival that austin has every year. I believe around 20-30 bands play all weekend long at zilker park. Usually a couple of big name bands make every year. I think the headliner for sunday was foo fighters. I know john mayer played sometime this weekend as well. Im guessing it is similar to SXSW(south by southwest) which is similar except SXSW is also a film festival as well..... ACL is just music.
