If they're feeling kind they may allow them a TD against Roy's Boys.

I think you've really shortchanged WO-S on this prediction.

Royal will put 8-9 in the box and try to take away the running game. This defensive unit had to cover all night for the very bad play of their offensive unit. WOS won't have any trouble winning this game, but don't underestimate the Royal defense.

WOS has a pretty balanced offense. In 2 games, they have 550 rushing and 260 passing. Well... maybe not totally balanced, but they can definitely sling it.

WOS by however much they want without any practice time! GO STANGS!

p4s, any chance you'll make the trek to Orange for this one? If you do, let us know so we can spot you. I'm about 50/50 on making this one, but the rest of the WOS crew will be there.

Are there any BR posters who will attend this game?

I think BR will screw up and make a TD somewhere, maybe on the backups. :)

No griff, I'll be in Aransas Pass. I'll have to wait until the playoffs to watch WOS play.

Good Luck!

Okay, I'll play Lou Holtz on this one. Do I think the 'Stangs will win? Look at the user name and you have the answer to that question.

However, I would caution against predicting a blowout. Not only is this a WO-S team that has not played a game in 3 weeks, but this week will mark the first full week of practice that Dan Hooks' boys have had since WEEK O. And after seeing district mates Silsbee, Hamshire-Fannett and Hardin-Jefferson struggle last week against overmatched opponents after such a layoff, I anticipate that we'll see a pretty sloppy effort from the Mustangs which will allow the Falcons to hang around in this game.

If not for the Royal defense, the game would of been a lot worse. Give them credit, as they forced Bellville to attempt 4 FG's (Bellville missed 2), after the offense gave Bellville the ball deep in Brookshire territory several times.

IMO, best defense that Bellville has played so far.
