I'm a firm believer in the presumption of innocence and all that, and clearly I wasn't there, but in all honesty I have trouble believing that Benson wasn't driving/boating while impaired in either case. And I have trouble believing that a typical person would have charges dropped like this.
I chalk this one up to the power of being able to afford a good attorney, plus who knows what other wrangling behind the scenes by the NFL or any teams who may be interested in him.

Honestly, I see Benson being more of a fit for the Texans than the Cowboys. Ahman Green looks like he's pretty much done, and I could see Benson being valuable in a reserve roll for the team.

I liked Van Halen and I liked Sammy Hagar, but I could never get into "Van Hagar." These were two great sounds that sounded better separate.
