I was looking at the brazoria county teams last night and realized that my senior season was 20 years ago.

I also realized that in fall of 1988 (my senior season) our game (Brazosport vs Sweeny) was canceled due to hurricane evacuation. That happened again this year exactly 20 years later......hum....

I then took a look at the Bport roster and found 5 kids who are the sons of guys I played with (4 are JRs by namesake).....

The program is of course in about the same condition, went 5-5 last year ...........

every thing changes and every thing stays the same......

I had my 20 year reunion 2 weeks ago, and it was funny as they called out all of the classes in attendance, they called out past homecoming queens, football records, etc. They wouldn't call out our record because we were 0-10 that year, I believe the only team in West history to do so. I was worried about this years team but they won that night saving them from having an embarrassing season like we did.
