Here are the results of games played between teams from different regions in non-district games so far. There are only a handful remaining to be played in the regular season as all districts will be into district games after the next two weeks.

OVERALL TALLIES
Regions I and IV both have leads in 2 series and trail 1 series
Regions II and III both have leads in 1 series and trail in 2 series

As Region IV wins in the head-to-head series against Region I...
and Region III wins in the head-to-head series against Region II

The current standings would be:

1st - Region IV (7 wins, 5 losses)
2nd - Region I (18 wins, 14 losses)
3rd - Region III (17 wins, 15 losses)
4th - Region II (9 wins, 17 losses)

Kinda surprising to some I would imagine...

I don't think there are enough games between quality opponents to have accurate results.

although... That Splendora/Needville/Stafford series gives you a good idea of how terrible Stafford always is.

Well, there are literally about 10 games remaining that include opponents from two different regions in the next two weeks.

There will only be 6 more after that for the entire season and those will be the DI and DII semifinal games and the DI and DII state championships.

That's it as far as games with which to compare strength of regions on a head-to-head basis.
