come on now, marions qb has thrown for 900 yards and 12 tds through 4 games. doesnt matter how weak the schedule is, those are outstanding numbers. they have a great team this year, look for them to be 5-0 after yoakum.

Marion's bubble gets burst Friday. If you play terrible teams and have a decent QB, you throw for 900 yards or whatever. The caliber of teams they have played are not anywhere close to Columbus and La Grange. Yoakum is beginning to control the turnover problems and their running game is getting on track. They are a young team that will get better each week and Marion will not be able to stop their offense either the run or the pass. Now the question is slowing down their passing attack. This could be a high scoring game.

The QB sounds impressive, and if he's the same guy that was the pitcher for Marion's baseball team last year, he definitely has an arm - but how will he perform when under pressure by a really solid defense? I don't think he's been really tested by the teams Marion's played so far this year. Time will tell, I guess. We'll have to see how they do in district. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. I wish them luck in their season.
