I don't know about credible, but there's pretty decent statewide representation in the folks who submit rankings. And very few of them allow a huge amount of homerism. It might not be on the same level as others, but it's not the opinion of just one person.

I would put more stock in a 3Adownlow poll than polls that use sportswriters from metro areas. It is like asking the folks on smoaky or ********** to make a statewide poll. People in Beaumont don't have any clue what is going on in Bridgeport, and people in Dallas could care less about Rio Hondo or PI.
