I thought for change sake that I would put up a thread where we could all say something nice about our biggest rival.

For Bridgeport:

1. Decatur has really nice uniforms.

2. Decatur has a Starbucks.

When Taft was 3A and in our district they were our biggest rival. :twitch: Overall record is 49-30-4 in Sinton's favor.

We've played Aransas Pass just as many times, but I just don't see them as a rival. Overall record is 59-23-1, in Sinton's favor.

We've only played Mathis 31 times, but we pretty much own them :D 24-7.

29 games against Ingleside 20-8-1, in Sinton's favor, soon to be 21-8-1 :devil:

As big as baseball is in Sinton, I didn't know what would be considered the biggest rival for the Pirates. There may be schools in which the rivalries are considered bigger in other sports than football. I didn't limit things to football, although I admit that 95% of the responses will be concerned with football rivalries.

Well.....when I think rival, I think Brenham. But they have chosen not to play Navasota since 2003, when they were 4A #10, and 3A unranked Navasota beat them at the Astrodome 50-23. Therefore that probably makes Bellville our biggest rival right now, with Madisonville and Caldwell knocking on the doors.

During baseball season,

La Grange has delicious grilled hamburgers, best any where and the most ferocious "old timer" fans who haven't had a grandkid or relative on the field in years and years but still come with their yard chairs to cheer the team & eat a hamburger.

Bellville has the best roasted peanuts with a concession complete with closed circuit TV so you don't miss any of the game while you work or grab some food. Great idea.

Sealy has a great big poster photo of their baseball players on the wall as you enter the field. School spirit is evident all around their campus with many elementary age kids watching the tournaments during the day.

Navasota Diamonettes and Caldwell Honey Bees are the best drill teams in 3A.

Wharton had the best cheering section @ a baseball game EVER.
