I find Brady's turnaround nothing short of astounding and impressive. A couple of years ago they were a very bad football team at the 2A level; this year they're 4-0 and beat a team which was 4A last year (Fredericksburg). What did they start putting in the water there?

Considering they started out at # 3, and have dropped each week, from the "records" it's probably fairly accurate.

Sorry, it didn't make sense, did it? When you take into consideration that the first game was a win, and the first loss was to the # 2 team at the time, the loss to LV probably wouldn't have dropped them too much. They dropped from 16 to 24 after our game this past Friday.

The way I see it, WC could have played a bunch of crappy teams and been 3-0..... and that still would not have been as impressive as Brownwood's 1-3 record IMO....


Their quality of opponents and their ability to "hang" with the best, to me makes them among the best.

Me too! Cause we actually see these teams play week in and week out. I'll bet with all the members on the downlow, every team in 3A is seen by SOMEONE on here.

The problem with being 1-3 and being ranked is that you have to beat some of those teams to be good enough to be ranked. If they lost to good 4a teams I could understand that.

Brownwood has lost to Stephenville, Waco LaVega and Liberty Hill.....the fact is they had legit chances to win 2 of the 3 tells me a lot about their team.....I know there is no one from Brownwood that would admit it but I'd love to see if he who shall not be named would have made a difference.

I expect Brownwood to get on track this week against Manor

Here's something you might like even better. Wichita Falls Rider (4A) is at 0-3. They are ranked 24th, while Ennis (4A), at 3-0, just moved into 25th. :confused:

Actually....there was talk about "he who shall not be named" on one of the threads and I believe a Brownwood poster DID admit that he had left somewhat of a void at that position!

Rider has just played a sick schedule.....all 3 games on the road....two of the games in East Texas and two against 5A schools...

They probably should be 2-1 but they managed to fritter the games away...ohh and this week they have Denton Ryan who averages over 60 points a game!
