This one comes down to whether or not Aaron Rodgers and the Packer "O" can keep pace with the high-flying Dallas "O" scoring. If he can---I smell "shootout"......if not, "blowout". I think the Dallas rush gets to the young QB this week---I say Cowboys by 10.

As much as I dont like Dallas, they impressed me on Monday. My eagles couldnt handle the late run by Dallas. I seriosly think that may have been a NFC Championship pre-view.

That being said, it wouldnt surprise me if this was too. Green Bay has looked pretty dang good so far. And I have been nothing but impressed with Rodgers. So, I am gonna have to say Packers 31, Cowboys 27

Wade Phillips has a history of being a very good defensive guy. I keep thinking at some point, they will have a real breakout defensive game. If this could be that game, it could get ugly.

I think GB is a good team, but it's really interesting to me how all the talking heads are all so adamant about GB winning this game. If you look at the teams Dallas & GB have played and how Dallas and GB have each played in those games, how can you pick against Dallas? I'm not saying GB can't win the game, but how do you look at what has heppened objectively and say GB will win?

Let's look at the individual matchups:

Dallas OL v GB DL = sizeable adv to Dallas

GB OL v Dallas DL & LBs = I'm gonna call this one a push

Dallas WR & TE v GB DBs = Woodson is injured and even healthy is not what he was a few years ago. Witten gives the boys a big adv against S or LBs. Adv Dallas

GB WR v Dallas DBs = Adv GB. They have some good talent there. However, I think the gap here is closer than Dallas' WR v GBs DBs. Dallas has talent in the DB and they are now healthy.

Special Teams - Adv Dallas. GB is good on special teams but they do not have the game breakers as return men that Dallas does. I think Dallas gets another ST touchdown tonight, either Felix or Pac.

QB - Have to go with Romo because he's had a few more big games than Rogers.

I agree; I think Dallas will be hung over from their big win against the dirty birds.

I see what you are saying. It is hard to pick against the Cowboys. You are correct. Granted, this is coming from a complete anti-cowboy. I recognize just how good they boys are this year.

At the same time, Im just pointing out. I do think GB is capable of beating them. Is Dallas capable of beating GB? Absolutely. Dallas is, without questions, one of the top teams in the NFL. However, I believe GB will go to show us that they are as well this year.

I can certainly understand where you are coming from. And you could be right. I don't doubt for one minute that GB is capable of beating Dallas.

I just find it odd that virtually all the pundits are taking GB. That to me just seems weird and reeks of something....

Adding to the weirdness, 3 of the 4 writers in the Green Bay paper picked Dallas.

As good as he is, it seems that Tony Romo can't go a whole game without losing his mind once or twice. Maybe he's just trying too hard to make something happen. Cowboys will smooth it out in the second half and start throwing up the field to T.O. or Witten. Go Cowboys.

Tony gets a second dose of Thorazine during halftime, that is why he regains his mind.
