When Graham Harrell threw for 67, i think he had beaten or tied the old overall mark at the end of the regular season. So imagine that was good enough to beat the previous record. However, i am about to watch a movie with the wifff, so i will not be researching to confirm it:)

i think 54 was the previous record, and at the time i remember hearing how amazing it was that he tied it in 10 games

Single season record is Graham Harrell with 67..Harrell has 167 for a high school career record and Colt McCoy is second with 116.

So I think the 54 number is correct for Mr. Harrell.
