I have it "on" but have not been paying attention. I did look over a minute ago to see Rice's D put a huge sack on McCoy.

Go Owls! LH's TE Kody Emmert is supposed to play today.

Score is 3-0, Rice. :cheerl: :cheerl:

Woo hoo! Rice is winning 3-0

My check comes from UT (being Faculty there) but my alma mater is Rice.... so there is no question I'm pulling for Rice

...and Texas just scores...

I knew it wouldn't last

I remember as an undergrad from 1987-1991 when the Rice Marching Owl Band totally won halftime over the BORING UT band 4 straight years

As Rice had the nations longest running losing streak at the time most people only went to the games to see the MOB (Marching Owl Band), which ruled then and still rule!

I only caught a glimpse of it on the one replay. I turned away and it was bad enough for me not to rewind and get a good look. I hope he can recover and play ball again one day. Hate to see that happen to a guy.

It seems to me like things bog down when he comes in. He may have a flashy play or two but that's it.

I think McCoy knew as soon as he threw it that he should've just tucked it and ran. McCoy looked really mad at himself for having thrown the pass. It was a split second decision to make so I can't fault him for throwing it, but I think he knew right after he released it that nothing good was going to come of throwing it. I hope Irby gets lucky and it isn't serious, but I doubt that'll be the case. Too bad because he was showing signs of becoming an elite tight end.
