Canyon was bye this week so the dawgs might have an advantage. So far the eagles are undeafeated with these wins:

Canyon. I've only missed 2 Wylie games since 2000, this will make 3. It's killin' me. :ack!:

I don't get out of school early enough to get to the game :(...unless the administration sets up an early release there is gonna be a lot smaller student section than usual.

Well you can't say that lol, I know Canyon will be there ready to play plus like black magic said, they do have a home field advantage.

I'm a little anxious about this one... 5 hour bus trip, heated rivalry with Canyon the last few years (of course that is a long list :rolleyes: ), just came off an emotional win over a tough LaVega team, facing a pure passing team for the first time this year (could be a good thing with Brownwood coming up next though). I think we'll be OK and Hugh will have them focused and ready... but still nervous.

Hey were you the one I visited with at the FCA game?

I think Wylie will pull this one through but a close game probally.
This can be a prep for Brownwood.

Close game! We are still getting to many penalties on critical downs, dropping to many passes, and not making PATs. I believe these problems will be taking care of by district play!

Wylie by 6!

This game couldn't come at a better time. With the district opener against Brownwood coming up, the Bulldogs need to play someone who will air it out. Win or lose, this game can only help the Bulldogs as they finish there preperation for district play.

Welllll, being from Canyon, I will have to go with Canyon on this one. I think it is going to be closer than most people think. If Canyon gets off the bus and plays like they can, they will take this one. We do air the ball out a lot, but we have several that can run the ball too. We should be healthy now and have all of our guys on the field. It should be a fun game.

This is a long standing rivalry in every sport. This will be the first time that I can remember Canyon and Wylie playing each other where the loser's season wasn't over. Even though it's not a playoff game, I think it will be a playoff type atmosphere, but then again LH and LV games were also playoff type atmoshperes and every game in our district will probably be also.

LOL! I remember our Sweetwater girls played them in the playoffs
a few years ago. It was close for almost the first three minutes
and then Canyon went on like a 70-10 run to end the game.:eek: :D

I kinda think Canyon plays up to whoever is across the line. They will be up for Wylie.

I don't know if you listened to the Frenship/Randall game, but Canyon kind of pulled a Frenship when we played Seminole, we decided we didn't have to fully get off the bus to play. When they realized that Seminole was playing to win, they decided they had better start playing. Hopefully they learned a lesson!! I think they will come to play when Wylie comes to town.
