It's too soon to predict the score for this one. Have to check injury reports, weather conditions, and the "police blotter" before the game...

LG wins this one handily on paper. They are 6-1 and Giddings is 2-5. They are playing at home. They've won the last several meetings. Common opponents were Yoakum and Manor. Yoakum beat the leps 28-6, and Yoakum beat Giddings 24-0. LG beat Manor 53-14, and the Buffs beat Manor 18-14.

LG has outstanding talent. But Giddings has the heart and the desire to pull off a major upset here. I'll make my prediction on Thursday...

I would love for Giddings to win, but I think LG will shut down Giddings paltry offense. Good defense beats crappy offense every time. I think the Giddings lineman are gonna be really sore after this game and I think Nicks is gonna be hurtin come Saturday morning.
