I figured it wasn't right to continue to hijack the Taylor vs Llano thread. Just wondering what kids from "your" team are playing college football currently.


Right off the top of my head, we have Tyler Kociuba (walked on @ A&M), Casey Kociuba (Southern Illinois), Kody Emmert (Rice), Marlowe Poitier (SHSU), Brent Bode (walk on @ SHSU), Doug Allman (MHBU). Not too shabby for a team that doesn't go with the flow & air it out. :)

If you look at the level all of those Gilmer players are playing, and then compare that with the level most LH and Celina players are playing........I sincerely don't mean this to knock Gilmer's coaches, but instead give kudos to the coaching at LH and Celina. I think that comparison speaks volumes.

Colin Jones(Bridgeport)- TCU, safety. Ask the Monahans boys about him. Like every homer, I know better than the TCU coaches:D , and think they should have tried him at RB. He was pure "magic" running and receiving in high school.

I see that you have P J Williams listed as playing for Texas State. I may have the wrong P J Williams but the P J Williams that I know of would be in his early 30's by now. Do I have the wrong guy in mind?
