The bright side for Velt is they more than doubled their season point total. They're up to 29 points for the season now through four games and they had a season high in yards with 153. That finally gives them more total yards on the season (477 yards in 16 quarters) than what we had during our first game of the season.
As G2 and LEROY (West fan who doesn't post often, but knows all about Velt.) know I'm not a real big fan of Velt at all. It about killed me to root for them in the playoffs last year. Outside of Lincoln there's no one I want to see Madison beat more than the Mustangs. I can't wait until we get our shot at payback and hopefully run up the score on them in a few weeks.
We may get drilled by Lincoln tonight, but it'll be good to know we're still better than Velt. :)
