yes he is a freshman and is not getting the ball very much. Most of his playing time is as a WR. Texas State has a couple already established RB's. Dont worry he will get his day. Also keep an eye out for him during Track season as he will be on the Texas State Track Team.

His senior year highlights should be coming out soon. They should be good. He had 431 yrds in one game. The guy who did all his highlights passed away so his wife found his work on the senior year highlights and is trying to get them posted on youtube.

I think he scored a TD a couple of weeks ago against Angelo State...Rivas will be fine......I know Fresno State had shown heavy interest not sure why he didn't wind up there

Yeah his size kept a lot of D-1's away..I know Fresno State showed late interest but not sure of any others.

Houston and TCU also showed interest. His decision to go to Texas State was also influenced by them letting him run Track. Being from the Valley didnt help him.
