This should be a good test for Mathis. Mathis is 2-0 and they have shut out there first two opponents. Mathis hasn't played a 4a team in a while. T-M is also 2-0 and both teams are coming off a bye week. Game is set for Thursday in Tuloso at 7P.M. Im picking Mathis 21-0. Gooo Pirates!!!!

I have been looking forward to hear how this game pans out as well. A good test for both teams. If TM wins they might have a better team than most people think. I think Mathis will be tested, but will come out with a win.

Mathis hasn't allowed a point yet this season. T-M is improved, but they run the same offense as Mathis so the Pirates will have a big advantage defensively as they've run the offense much longer. The Warriors will score, but Mathis takes it by 18.

Turnovers hurt If I was coach for mathis I would tape that ball to every ball carrier that got it 2nite and Qb all weekend and make them take it to there house school and shower.Going into District next week theres no room for errors like that. Anyone that loses that many fumbles they don't have a chance of winning a game. Mathis` center was the injured player and the new center may have resulted in the fumbles due to the unfamiliarity between QB and center. The news said the young man may be out for the season. It also said he was a three year starter, so he is obviously vital to Mathis` team. Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your Rivals across the bridge.
