Who doesn't miss the Oilers

Pro football In Houston will never be the same

Remember the Houston Oiler Polka they played during the games after they scored touchdowns

I still have a mp3 copy of it

Without Bum Phillips arouund, its not the same

turn on CBS at 11 and watch Mustburger,Phillis George, and Jimmy the Greek, then Cowboys at noon,Then over to NBC for Oilers at 3.Now that was a good Sunday. The Texans are the most unpopular team in the NFL.A&M didnt you get a coach from the Texans, hows that working out?

And the crowd never left the Astrodome till the game was over

There was no tailgating back then

Theres always a lot of empty seats at Reliant even though they say its a sold out crowd

Wharton's Lamar Lathon played for them too if I'm not mistaken

Here's some old Earl Campbell highlights that bring back memories of me watching him when I was a kid. I will never forget him running over Youngblood, the LB for the Rams. It's at 1:13 of the video.

They used to have a guy run out and pick up the tee after a kickoff and he would spring to the sideline and do a somersault back to the bench.

Luv ya Blue

I have tried the Titans and the Texans just dont do it for me. As many times as the Oilers broke my heart I would love to see baby blue come back.

Loved Earl Campbell... that is about it... oh yeah... I loved 00 Kenny Borroughs... but could not stand the Oilers or their fans... my Uncle had season tickets and I would go to a few games...
Oiler fans were the biggest band wagoners ever...
