Does anyone have statistical data to support pooh kicks on kick offs as opposed to deep kicks? It seems most teams at the high school level should be able to adequately cover a deep kick and would benefit more from doing so than from using the pooch kick.

Don't have any data on it, kep. I know Decatur used it very successfully against Sweetwater a couple of years ago because they had a kicker who could make all the kicks well. He had a foot like a 9-iron and could kick it sky-high.

Don't do it...the pooh just sticks to the bottom of your feet and it follows you wherever you walk.

Haha! But I heard the receiving team doesn't like handling pooh kicks!

If you don't have a kicker than can make it in the end zone then i think it is good to pooch kick.
