Would you pick against Katy?

I really like this Flower Mound Marcus team that is going down to Waco on Saturday to play Houston-area power Katy. But Katy is 0-2 for the first time since 1984. What are the odds of Katy dropping to 0-3?

Yes, Katy got drubbed, 47-0, by The Woodlands in its last game. But that was way back on Sept. 5. Plenty of time to stew.

Picking against Katy is like picking against Highland Park, Southlake Carroll or Celina (whoops!). I just don't think I can do it.

Yea! But all those schools Ennis has beaten except Celina. Ennis has state championships.

And just what would that be? Because I'm apparently missing it!

I found it funny the poster pointed out Ennis has state championships.

I think the schools mentioned might have a couple!

Ennis has only beaten SC and HP. Carrol was fortunate to move up to 5a because Ennis had their number.

I actually thought you were referring to the "Would you pick against Katy?", etc. comment, not the comment in red below that :doh:

As bad as Katy looked against the Woodlands, I would pick against them.

Sorry to have to correct you but HP has TWO state championships since 1953 (although I'm assuming you meant to say since 1957).

1957 and 2005.
