Crockett and Devine couldn't sniff Bellville's jock.

The Bulldogs have a pretty decent D. I think it's a reach saying they couldn't sniff Bellville's jock.

I have Madisonville edging Crockett in overtime. It won't be a defensive battle, IMO. Crockett is decent, sure, but they have not lived up to their billing so far this season.

Carry means that they are at least able to speak and follow in their footsteps. Sniff means they don't even get to wash their jersies!

interesting that daingerfield is still #11, still outside the top 10 in 2A, behind teams like Pilot Point

I also found it interesting DMN put Pilot Point above Celina in the 3A-others poll at #1.

Celina may not be #1, but PP should have to play celina and beat us (or even come within six touchdowns) for the first time this decade before they ever move above the bobcats.

And that isn't sour grapes. That is the truth. Preach on, Rixey!!!

i don't want people to misconstrue this, Benny, and think that i still have Celina top 10 in 3A (unlike the coming DL poll)

Celina is down, and will have to prove they belong at the top again, but the Dallas Morning News must've just wanted to have someone else at the top of list for the first time since Gainesville

Pilot Point may be a top team in 2A, but they are most definately not better than Daingerfield (or Cisco, or several others) yet

PPSB knows i have great respect for the bearcats, but other than a run through a vacant 2A D1 R2 in 2000 (the same D1 Van Alstyne would subsequently reach the finals of), they haven't seen the 3rd round of the playoffs since 1994

Can anybody paste this weeks 2A poll for me? I wanted to see
if Clyde was getting any love yet.

I don't think that will happen. Crockett has given up only 6, 12, and 14 points this year. Not amazing but not too shabby. Madisonville is down. Madisonville was a preranked top 25 team I believe so you could say they haven't lived up to their billing either. Crockett will be able to score against a struggling Madisonville defense and IMO be to slow down Whaley enough to win by 2 scores.

What? No Pottsboro? That will change when they beat PP this year.

Beware of the Cardinals. The Cardinals are flying under the radar.

They will certainly be able to score more than 14 points against Crockett. Madisonville is down without a doubt, but I think Crockett had more hype as a team than Madisonville. Everybody knew that Whaley was the only good thing Madisonville had going for them this year. I think Madisonville will flat out be able to outscore Crockett this week. It is just my opinion anyhow, so it really doesn't matter. I won't cry if I am wrong.:D

Thank you

I obviously want Sweetwater to beat Clyde Friday. If they do
Clyde will fall off the map. I bet they'll redeem themselves when
the Bulldogs play Cisco though.
