Both teams come in off of different results the previous week-
ranked Glen Rose lost to 2A Boyd 33-21 and Carrollton Ranchview beat Crandall 52-3

Ranchview would love to beat a ranked opponent for the first time, while Glen Rose would love to keep its ranking and get back on track as district play gets closer

Week 3 Pick 'Em:
Carrollton Ranchview @ Glen Rose
Paris North Lamar @ Longview Pine Tree
Celina vs. FW Arlington Heights
Paris vs. Lindale
Dallas Madison vs. Dallas Lincoln

Doesn't Glen Rose have a pretty good QB?

Yes-Thompson passed for 3,000+ yards last season, and was the main reason they made it to the Quarterfinals

however, if they don't refocus quickly, Ranchview can surprise them--the onus rests on the defense of Ranchview, since their offense isn't as explosive as Glen Rose (they are more experienced however, and you can bet they would love to take the next step with their program)

I'm still not sold at all on Glen Rose. I know they won't be a threat to us in district, but I'm just thinking in the wide scheme of things, I don't think they will be doing anything.

region gotw's don't have to be completely in-region--which is good, since at this point region 2 isn't exactly stellar
