Well in light of Ingleside's rough loss against Refugio, I wonder if the Mustangs can build upon those mistakes and put it to use against the Rockport Fulton Pirates. The Ingleside team that I saw play against Miller did not sound like the same team that came to play against Refugio.

I think that they have speed and are looking better with each game they have played.

I think that they have speed and are looking better with each game they have played. 2-1 against 31-3a and they might be the last place team in 30-4a. They do have receiver thats around 6'7 but dropped several balls against Robstown. Robstown moved the ball on them for most of the game but turnovers and penalties kill several of their drives. They dont have much speed.

Ingleside 45 Rockport 14

At the half:

Rockport Fulton 25

Ingleside 0

Some of the updates that I have gotten from Ingleside Fan lead me to believe that we are not improving whatsoever.

Maybe just too inexperienced. We will see how they do the rest of the way.

He applied for Refugio job (he does live there) but they hired Herring last year. Some anti-Harris people in GP want him but some do not. Time will tell!

He has done a good job with the Ingleside program these last couple of years. I think he will be successfull wherever he decides to go. Usually 3A is a stepping stone for most coaches so I woudn't be suprised to see him go in another year or two, but for now he remains with Ingleside and I believe he is going to get those Stangs ready for district play. We may be down right now, but we are no means out. Especially since district has yet to start.

It always makes me happy to hear Coach Grover is doing well. From what I heard they had like five fumbles against OG. Not making excuses for them, but I hope they do well this year.

Tradition does not always equal success. Every team goes through periods of down time when they just don`t have the athletes to compete as well as in the past. Graduation really , really hurt Ingleside. I expect them to be a factor in a year or two.
