This should be a great classical game that everyone should really enjoy. The Gulf waves will be rumbling like they did with Ike when these great football powers collide. I hate to miss it but I must go to the Sinton vs West Oso Volleyball game especially since I haven't got to go to too many volleyball games this year.

I don't think that Refugio is going to hang 50 on Ingleside like Beeville did to OG. I think it will be a very close game.

Being from 31-3A I hope they represent the district well. You say Refugio is just coming together, well isn`t Ingleside full of new players as well? Like I said, if they beat Refugio, they just may be the class of the district, and it wasn`t so much a jab at IH, as it was a compliment as to how good Refugio just might be. Tons of speed and some big lineman. Good Luck to both.

I agree this will be good test for the (young) Mustangs. Refugio has proven themselves over the years as very good team. Finally we get to play some football! :)

I like this matchup. I wouldn't be surprised to see Refugio pull out the win. I'm not gonna say they will win because Ingleside is certainly capable of winning, but I think they will be tested this week.

Hard to duplicate speed in practice when your team does not have the speed the opponent has *Nothing against Ingelside.* Most of those interceptions probably would not of been made if it weren't for Refugio's speed .

I honestly believe it was a little of both. Refugio is no slouch and is that good and Ingleside turned the ball over 5 times inside their own 20. Combination of fumbles and Ints. You don't deserve to win at that point.

Refugio had too much speed for Ingleside. Their D was wrecking havoc! I love to watch Refugio play. Saw them last year in a barn burner against Rice.

That fumble before the half was caused by the D. Ingleside had a nice drive going and the D stripped the ball away from the WR.

The first INT was a bad throw....saw the pick coming a mile away.

The second INT was a pressure from the D and then a "lucky" break.

Ingleside D just couldn't stop Refugio. They moved the ball at will. While I was there Refugio only punted once.

I'm sure all you Ingleside fans will tell me that I watched a bad game and that Refugio is just that good. Time will tell.

The Stangs looked really bad. I kinda looked like they had not even practiced together. Refugio's lineman on both sides of the ball dominated. This let Refugio's offense do about anything they wanted. The Stangs secondary has alot of work to do defending the pass.

There is to much to talk about for the Stangs to do so I will just stop.

I do "BELIEVE" we have the talent and coaching to turn this around.

But now we have to get them to "BELIEVE" in themselves and their coaches.

Refugio is a heck of a good Class 2A team out there and I`m sure Ingleside isn`t is bad as they showed last night. Sounds like the "quicksand" theory. When things go bad, they keep going bad, the more you fight, the worse it gets. I`m not sure who the clear cut top of the class in 31-3A might be. Everyone that played a "good" team has taken it on the chin. I still say West Oso, Orange Grove, Ingleside, Mathis ,Sinton,with Robstown being my dark horse, will all fight it out for the playoff spots, .. Good luck the rest of the way. When will Ingleside play next?

Ingleside plays Rockport on Saturday. So between now in then I hope Ingleside can get it together.

I saw the score on the news last night and my jaw hit the floor. Refugio winning didn't surprise me. It was by how much they won and the fact that they shutout the Mustangs is what got me. Hope you guys rebound on Saturday.

Rockport won`t be an easy game either. Big, stout QB who runs well for his size. Stop the run up the gut and Ingleside might be ok. .
