I'll have to find out what time the gates open, but I'm thinking 5-5:30. :thinking: I think we should be able to meet at half-time on the end by the flag pole. Yes, it will be crowded along the sidewalk, and there may be some temp stands down there, but there still should be enough room.


And no, I'll be in Brownwood Thursday for the freshman game, and maybe part of JV.

Not sure how early I can get there. My car pool buddy has never been on time to anything. Halftime or post game works best for me but I am open to whatever... since your leaving the thong at home.

My posts on the other thread were about justifying Brownwood's talent even though we have 2 losses (and last time I checked, so does Wylie :rolleyes: ). But nobody will take that argument seriously, especially against Liberty Hill, and why would they? I really don't have a leg to stand on and everybody is just going to make me eat crow again if I keep spouting off. My goal was to earn a little respect and apparently, I haven't at all. I have said enough about what I feel about the game this Friday (none of it over the top IMO) and I will let that be.

Next week I wll be back posting again. I won't be around Saturday. I'll be in Brownwood.

The thing that many of the posters on here are ripping you about is not your passion (or being a homer) for Brownwood, but your words of disrespect towards others and their teams. You did come on here and eat crow and I like several others were impressed and respected the fact that you were able to so. Heck, one of my most enjoyable weeks on here was when Greenwood played Snyder and I proclaimed it Greenwood/Snyder smack week. Even mild mannered GWOOD got a few punches in.

I don't remember the excact post nor do I want to go back and look. It was the week between Wk zero and week one and you had a string of post for a couple of days that were way beyond the boundries of smack talking (IMO) and evidently others must have felt the same way or we wouldn't even be having this conversation. However, unlike most:clap: you did come on and eat crow for it also. All I was doing in my earlier post was giving you my opinion of why people were jacking with you. Heck, I too got caught up in it and was lashing back at you during that same week, but I have moved on. Your not the first poster I've disagreed with on some issues and you certainly won't be the last. :D

It will probably be about the same time wise to go back through Brownwood, unfortunately. The road between Brady & Llano is 55, 2-lane, double-striped 99% of the way, unless something has changed in the last 3 years.

Hey bud, look on your map for FM 765. It is back roads with no patrol (that I have seen in 25 years) all the way from goodfellow AFB in San Angelo to Goldthwaite. I think it will be the straightest shot and definetly one you could make some time on

29 west towards mason, past llano take 71 and go north to brady the west on to sa. watch out for deer they will be everywhere.

71 is 65 until you go through pontatoc. Pronounced "ponitoc" there are a couple of slow down areas in between that don't amount to much.

Deer is your biggest hold up.
