Not unless Vernon is doing one. We do all of our away games but not the home games.

Pass happy teams do scare me. I just hope we continue to get better. Looks like we made sure we engaged the passing game last week but those numbers were skewed by I think an 80 yard pass TD. Should be a good game. I think I will be going to this one.

Just got a call from VernonLions#1 and Argyle is up on Vernon 14-7 at the half.

The Lions took the opening kickoff marched down the field and scored. After that -- nothing.

Argyle is running the middle screen well and teh Lions are having a hard time on defense.

Pretty much. They didn't even get a first down until the 2nd half. Their first half score was a kick-off return.

Looks like they have a lot of work to do. VL#1 said Argyle looked very good. Mixed pass and run well.

well I went to the game and Vernon looked terrible. QB1 left the game in the first half after a 7 yard punt out of our endzone. We really have ZERO on offense. Argyle runs a 4 wide set that just made us look silly. I thought Whiteside was going to be more of a factor but there were many times he isnt even on the field on offense. We are very very small and honestly not that fast. defense isnt bad at all but spread like that we just couldnt keep up and Argyle was able to run all over us. We had a 5'6" DB on their #24 who looks every bit of 6'4" 6'5". This wasnt even close Vernon will be in trouble against everyone except WF Hirschi. Also we cant tackle at all, the guys slipped at least 2 guys on almost every play.

This was the worst I have seen a Vernon team look offensively in over 20 years of watching and playing for the lions. If Vernon does not adjust the offense and find some way to move the ball they will get beat by everyone else on the schedule except maybe Hirshi and right now I'm not so sure Hirshi is gonna be an easy win. Vernon has trouble blocking anyone, the QB can't stay upright and there are no holes for the backs to run through, and when you run a wing-T that spells disaster. Looks like a long season for my Lions.

I agree. Their offensive line couldn't block a jelly doughnut. In the first half, every other play was a penalty. The coaches need to rethink their overall strategies and find out who is going to play where.
