Way to go Caldwell, I said the Hornets would be a factor in the district, and after the Bellville game the Hornets seem to have it going.

Caldwell will control the ball, control the clock, and rack up the yards/points. They've been doing it for three years since they've gone to the slot-T.

Caldwell 53 Waco Conally 12 with 5 minutes to go in the game. I would almost feel sorry for Conally if they hadn't beat us a couple of times in the play-offs.

Don't know haven't been to a game this year so far. This is the first game at home and I have a terrible headache so I stayed home.

Is the name spelled right? His dad was a QB for the Hornets many years back?

Caldwell 53 Conally 12 final. I can't wait to see how many yards rushing we had tonight. I'll bet we had a least three backs with more than a hundred yards again this week.

Caldwell has scored 119 points in the last 2 wins, means only scoring 12 vs Bellville the new Bellville defense lookes even better. Keep up the wins Caldwell.

It's spelled Surovik. His dad's name is Albert but we called him Pee Wee.

Actually, Caldwell scored 14 vs. Bellville and should have scored 24, but who's counting? :-)

The Hornets look dang near unstoppable tonight and Cameron had to come from behind to beat the Cadets two weeks ago, 41-37.

District 24, watch out. The Burnt Orange just discovered its potential.

Caldwell vs. Navasota should be a humdinger.

Amazing the difference two weeks makes, ain't it?

Way to go, fellas. Connally was much better than Shepherd.

I think using this post with the score in the headline is better than the generic titled "Caldwell/Connally updates" Just my opinion. :-)

From the Waco Tribune-Herald:

Caldwell racked up 522 rushing yards on 51 attempts. With passing, the Hornets may have exceeded 600 total yards, but I think it might have been just short.

Yep, the Slot-T is dangerous with a solid stable of running backs.

This win makes Bellville look even better.

With each impressive win, Caldwell makes my Bellville defense look that much better. IMO, Bellville caught a break playing the Hornets so early. Lack of experience really showed in that first game, but now Caldwell appears to have things going in the right direction. Teams will learn that if they can't stop or least slow down their running game, there won't be alot of time to score points.

How is the special teams looking? I noticed some problems with their deep snapping, but hopefully they got that under control.
