All the motels and RV Parks are full. We are making plans to put the overflow at City owned facilities as well as the 4H Center and the Baptist Encampment on Lake Brownwood. Hopefully they won't be needed.

We will be having an emergency set-up at the high school, for about 200 I believe.

I'll be selling hot dogs and lemonade from my front yard....It'll be $3 each or $5.00 for the combo.

Condiments are $.25 extra each.

Here's hoping some desperate people forgot to pack food!!!

You better hang on to them. If the storm goes where they think, you might just need them.

As of last night, the projections had it hitting Dallas county on its way east...where I live in Denton county, it looked like we might not be in its path at all...but then again, I've never trusted a weatherman in my life, so I'm not going to assume I'm safe just because he says I am.

It may depend on how fast that cold front hits.

I'm sorry, I'm just used to a different style of people I guess.

umm...let's think about it for a minute.

What are the odds that I would randomly have evacuees walking around in front of my house?

Of course it was a joke. :dispntd:

In the face of disaster, it become difficult to distinguish jokes from reality.

I didn't think you were serious, but hey, there are people that would.
