Even though they're not, what roads do you think the folks evacuating will travel? The potential for extremely heavy traffic is why our game was moved up.

heard Lexington vs. Cameron is cancelled also - heard Cameron wanted it dropped and Lexington didn't - would make sense - Cameron was the ones on the road

During Rita, Navasota's population grew to about 20,000 people in the area...Highway 6 was a gridlock...It was a night mare...From my understanding, the City of Navasota cancelled the game.

a smart move. with all the traffic out there, no need for a non-district game to be payed.. safety first....
