Moody losing to Kingsville 13-16, [who then lost BIG to Raymondville (24-54 :eek: :eek: )] & King Mustangs 6-38....I just don't know what to think about Moody!

Having a bye this early in the year sucks. Hope our boys don't have a case of the blahs to open up this game.

I'm gonna take Sinton by a TD.

saw them against King on Saturday and both teams with not much speed. Moody defense did ok but gave up 3 big plays for TD otherwise they kept King under control. Sinton wins by 1 run with a late inning 3 run HR.





Kingsville held Moody to 85 total yards and King held them to 202 yds. Not sure how good Sinton is yet but the Pirates have matched last year win total :)

really? Coach is optmistic that we'll still play. unless the county does something stupid like when Hurricane Rita was "projected" to hit here and we had mandatory evacuations on Wednesday! :rolleyes:

They jumped the gun on that one. I'm thinking if it does come, an evacuation will be ordered late Thursday/early Friday.

Its not a good idea to wait til last two days. It took us 8+ hours from Lake Charles to Baytown where it finally cleared up into Houston. It was ugly scene, feel bad for all those people with cars out of gas, broken down because over heated . Normal drive from houston to lake charles is just over 2 hours!!!. several times we moved a mile in 45 mins.
