Llano Stats!!!!

I just looked at the Austin American Statemans and saw Llano's stats from the first two games and i saw that they had tons of rushing yards. 351 against Rockdale and 431 against Bangs. I know their defense was horrible against Rockdale but they only allowed 147 yards last night i think. Has anyone seen Llano play?

Llano runs a variation of the 'Slot T'.

Not nearly as good as L.H. though. Defense is average at best.

I watched them week 0 against Rockdale. Very good O line pretty good speed in the backs. Defense was the weekness that night, but it looks like they did a much better job in week 1.

Not taking anything away from Llano but Bangs is coming off a couple rebuilding years. They have a new Coach (Chuck Lipsey) who is trying to turn them around. He is a good man and will get it done. Good luck to Llano and Bangs.

Llano host Bandera this week. Unfortunately our run defense has been terrible. We've given up almost 400 yds rushing to both La Vernia and 2A Lago Vista, both losses for us. Llano will have a better rushing attack than either of our previous opponents.
