OOPS! Chronicle has it at 52 yards total offense. It really feels great to finally beat those guys after 3 tries.

This game went into the 4th qt with Columbia leadin 2-0!


Our D played a hell of game. They sacked the St pius qb about 10 times. We had 4 fumbles and about 8-10 penalties..... We need to get that corrected but man our D was nuts. I knew we could beat St pius! Great game guys!


I REALLY liked the aggressive playcalling. ( 2 onsides is a bit much and maybe we should have punted rather than giving st pius the ball on the 50 twice, but hey, it worked out alright so I aint complaining.)


Shout out to my main man, Dexter Lewis..... 75 yd TD always helps the stats homie..... Also, Jason Morgan was beasting on the D line..... 5 sacks I think he had- REGION 4 POTW!

and the refs did chad bad on that holding call after about a 60 yd completion.


Oh well, and bringing in Daymond was a good change of pace at QB. Also, JaWayne fields in the backfield was sweet. Not very often you see someone in the backfield on offense over 300 lbs....


And speaking of 300 lbs... That's what St Pius line averaged..... We went about 215. Didn't exactly help em much.


Note- I think St Pius had -34 Yds of offense in the first half.....


And I saw something I hadn't seen in a LONG time. St pius at one point was on 4th down punting..... it was 4th down and about 50 yds for a first down....

Anyway...... Our team deserves a :clap: !

St Pius turnout was not very impressive. I don't know if it's just becaus they don't have mnay followers, but you would think as good as they have been the last 2 years.... there would have been more people.


Anyway.......... We were looking alot better last night. I think we'[ve got an idea of what this team can accomplish now with a very good showing against a QUALITY opponent.
