Story
ROYSE CITY--Frank Dave rushed for two touchdowns and Richard Morrison threw for two more as Royse City celebrated the opening of the new Royse City ISD Stadium with a 35-7 win over Atlanta Friday night.
Dave scored on a three-yard run on the opening possession and added another three-yard run in the second quarter.
The game was also the first for Royse City (1-0) in Class 4-A and marked the debut of Head Coach Greg Strahm.
Morrison completed 17-of-30 passes for 198 yards, including a 33-yard scoring pass to Kris Smith and another for 29 yards to Justin Jacobs.
Atlanta (0-1) scored on a 78-yard run by Devin Lockhart.
