I was just looking at smithvilles schedule, they have luling, halletsville, and yoakum next. Those are all very win-able games, for god sake they might be 5-0 going into district...I'm beside myself with astonishment.Cinderella indeed.

Its been a long time coming for them...they couldn't deserve it more..all those years I've seen them get pounded but they were always good sports and classy.I'll keep an eye and see how they fair in district..its mighty tough in D25

It seems that over the last couple of years, Wharton has had talent, but have just had a hard time translating it onto the field/scoreboard. I have no doubt they will get it together sometime in the near future. Maybe not this year, but soon.

Smithville was very good Wharton didnt play as well as they did against rice Smithville won the game easy but Wharton didnt give up from what i seen.. we lost by 14 pts but watching the game it felt like alot worse haha wharton will get it together im sure
