TCA was pretty good. Bout as good as Snyder last year but a little better on defense.

This was a great game but not easily won AT ALL. TCA played their hearts out and they had an awesome fan base that really showed up in force. We won but we never pulled our starters. In the last two minutes of the game TCA almost scored again but were stopped short. These guys beat last year's state champs in the private school division II last week and they showed up to play and their support system was exceptional! Way to go TCA! Here's to a great game!!!!

I agree. TCA has a very good team and brought a large, vocal fan base. Should be a good one next week in Royse City.

schedule says JV goes TO Dangerfield to play on Thursday...can that possibly be right that the jv makes the drive but varsity does not?

Celina jv will go to Dangerfield this year and Dangerfield jv will come to Celina next year.

That was a very tough game for the us. This game is just what we needed though to get ready for the remainder of the season. I did here from a inside source that all the coaches were pleased with effort anf thought overall we played a good game. One thing that has to change and change very fast is penalties. I dont know how many we had, but we had a bunch that took away our momentum. I cant help, but think that we should have put atleast 40 points on the board, but our brain farts and a solid Trojan D stopped that. I think we will learn alot from that game.

I spoke with one of the coaches today at the pee wee rounds and he said the same thing. A good tough fast d that pursued well. Solid line backing corp. Our offensive line had to grow up on this night.
