I always knew that the sportswriters in Waco were among the best around. They pick that game exactly.

It's gonna be a good game. If there is a blowout side to this, Brownwood has the edge. Sorry.

The Waco Trib is famous for its uninformed picks and lack of knowledge on football. They know their baseball, that's about it.

I can't say I am impressed with La Vega beating a Marlin team full of Soph's. Wow good job, La Vega.

I did not like or agree with the outcome predicted by the padila poll but I sure agreed with the sumation of how the game will flow.. Needless to say, they did a little more research than look at last weeks finals scores like the Waco Paper did

I think the shootout comes from above average offenses and big play capability, which it sounds to me like La Vega might have and I know Brownwood has. Not necessarily bad defenses. La Vega has speed, we have talented players at key positions that also have size. Should be a great game.

Snyder will finish third. La Vega was good last year. If they are close to that you will get a good game. I am not sure about this year for them because of the distractions of Chris Parr. What a waste of talent he is. Good Luck BwdLions. Hope ya'll get a good look at a good 3a team.
