Anybody else watching the 2 California schools on ESPN 2? This is a pretty good game. Carson looks to have lots of speed.

All but two states play high school football using National Federation of High School Sports rules.

There are not many huge differences and they get closer and closer every year. The overtime procedure is one of the biggest.

The other one that confuses a lot of people is illegal procedure. there is no such thing in NCAA but there is in NFHS.

There has been talk about Texas moving to NFHS because of some of the things in NCAA that are not in the UIL. One example is instant replay. I don't think it will happen but it could.
