I ate dinner last night at a restaurant called Boudreau and Thibodeau's Cajun Cooking in Houma La. It was the best food I have ever eaten. I had red beans and rice over smoked sausage with fried frog legs. If you are ever in the area you have to try this place out.

I've never spent any time in Houma, but if you get to Baton Rouge, try Ralph and Kacoo's place. Best seafood I've ever had anywhere! wink

that's one thing i miss about living in se texas is the cajun food. central texas just doesn't have any. Larry's French Market in Port Arthur is good, but the best is to boil your own crawfish, potatoes, garlic, corn, and onions and then take the leftovers and cook crawfish pie or etoufee.

cunbed: I think I'd go a little farther east than Houston. BUT, I'd take Houston's any day over Wichita's!!!

:D

texcaj: Been there! That's real close to my in-laws.
