So Jasper Vs. Kirbyville has been cancelled??

I just read that on another board saying it was because of Gustav.

Is this something that will be made up, or do both teams just go on the books as playing 9 games?

It will probably not be made up. I'm surprised they cancelled it already. So far I think this is the only game in our area that has been cancelled. Most are moving their games to Saturday night. Really just depends on what Gus does!! Alot of us have evacuated. I'm currently in Lindale.

DUE TO POTENTIAL WEATHER ISSUES AND CONTINUING CONCERNS RELATED TO POWER AND TRAFFIC, THE FOOTBALL GAME SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2008 AGAINST KIRBYVILLE HAS BEEN CANCELLED. JJHS, 9TH AND JV GAMES HAVE ALSO BEEN CANCELLED.
