As of last night, Liberty Hill has the longest ACTIVE win streak alive, any classification, with 1A Alto losing to San Augustine.

Just another reality check for Celina's biggest "athletic supporter".

Celina would have that but remind me again who their last lost was against?

Just another reality check for Celina's biggest "athletic supporter". Dude over the past three years Celina is 47-1. That is unbelievable. who cares if they don't have a win streak at 25.

I'd take 25-0 with 2 state titles over 47-1 over 1 state title. 47-1 is awesome, but 2 to 1 over rules. I'm pretty sure that Celina would take the 2 titles and 25-0 over 47-1 with 1 title.

The only loss coming in THE STATE CHAPIONSHIP GAME as well...

I'll take 47-1 with 2 and another appearance over 25-0 with 2.

YOU would care about 2A if your team won a championship there.

Wow, if there is SOMETHING, no ANYTHING, that people can say positive about their team, that Celina can't, it will be posted with many smiley faces.

Liberty Hill is a fine team. I take nothing away from them. But this thread just shows that Celina is the program that everyone wants to be as good as. Even if it requires selective comparison.

If Celina had moved to 3A and bombed, you might have a point. That has hardly been the case. So, if you want to make comparisons about programs playing at a very high level over time, and use Celina as a measuring stick, it's relevant.

And 25 is a long way from 68.
